Pastor Carlos from Boas Novas Church sent the pictures to show how they distributed the
“basic baskets and Cleaning baskets” bought by money donated through the Zacchaeus Project
and also the Hospital Tests that were paid for by the donations.
Pastor Carlos has asked us to pass on his thanks to all those who donated.
These baskets have made a massive difference to so many families and the families also wanted him to pass on their thanks.
Life is tougher than usual in Brazil, with no health service and no social service which means
if you can’t get work then you and your family don’t eat.
The basic baskets provide enough food for a month.
Also the project was able to send some money to a church in Rio who has begun to provide lunch
to those who have nothings. The Rev. Luke asked us to pass on his thanks also.
